Jay Shree Infra keeps material from the brands below at its Saharsa godown: sariya, cement, fabrication sections, pipe, sheet and roofing, all on one premises on Meera Talkies Road. SAIL TMT is the sariya we reach for first, and not every diameter is in every brand on a given day, so name the size and the grade on the call. HMB is what the grill and gate workshops here buy their sections in, and the cement side runs on ACC, UltraTech, Nuvoco, Ambuja, Shree and MP Birla. Each name carries a line saying what of that brand reaches us, not what the brand says about itself.
Some of these names are mills and some are only labels this shop bills under. Where a maker stands behind the name we say so, and where the label came in on a bundle tag with no mill attached to it, we say that and move to what the steel itself is for. Loading and delivery for all of it run in our own vehicles across Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura. In the bazaar the shop is still Khagaria Wale.

What we stock
Not every size of every name is on the floor on a given day, so say the brand and the size in the same breath when you call.
- Tata TisconSariya, and only sariya. Tata Steel's rebar brand, on the same rack as SAIL. Ring us for the diameters that are in today.
- SAILThe widest spread of any name here: sariya, plus joist, channel and beam, plus CR and GP sheet. The SAIL sariya that reaches this godown is SAIL SeQR, their retail line. Which diameters we keep standing in it is still a question for the counter.
- Tata DurashineRoofing and shed material: colour coated sheet, CoolShield, crimped sheet, and purlins and girts. Tata Steel Colors' roofing line. Give us the span and the profile and we will confirm what is in.
- Tata SteelThe parent name over several lines we carry: Tata Shaktee for GC chadra, Tata Steelium for CR sheet, GP sheet, and Tata Structura and Tata Pipes on the pipe side. On an order we work to the line name, not to Tata on its own.
- JSW SteelSariya under the Neosteel name, and CR and GP sheet. JSW and Jindal are two separate makers and we stock both, so say which of the two you want when you ask.
- JindalColour coated roofing sheet and GC chadra, off Jindal India's coated steel side. The Jindal name covers more than one company in this trade, so read us what the mistri wrote down and we will match it against the coil marking.
- KamdhenuColour coated roofing sheet, and MS and GI pipe for shed work. Kamdhenu Limited runs a TMT family nationally too, but that is not what we stock of the name here. Ask before you count on a colour.
- Shyam SteelSariya, nothing else. Shyam Steel Industries is a separate company from Shyam Metalics below and the two get swapped at the counter, so say the full name when you order.
- Shyam Metalics (SEL)Heavy structural: joist, channel and beam. Billed locally as SHYAM SEL, which is Shyam Metalics and Energy. Godown and shed frame material. Nothing here goes into a house slab.
- Balmukund TMTSariya. The brand publishes a Fe 500, Fe 550 and Fe 600 family. Which grade a slab takes is the drawing's call; what we can tell you is which grade is standing in the godown that morning.
- Alaknanda TMTSariya, from the Alaknanda TMT group's own mill. The same group rolls what reaches us under the Solar name.
- Gobardhan NXT 600Sariya, billed under the name as it is printed on the bundle tag. Say the diameter and the grade your drawing asks for and we will count what is standing.
- HMBThe fabrication rack: angle, flat, square, round bar, gate channel and shutter sections, in HMB iGrill for plain MS and HMB Grill Guard for the galvanised side, both published at 20 ft lengths. We supply and distribute for HMB, and this is what most grill, gate and shutter work here is built out of: clean finish, straight lengths, no complaints back.
- SatyamMS and GI pipe, shed framing pipe included. Satyam Steel is an ERW pipe maker. Give us the outer diameter and the wall thickness; a trade name for the section will not do.
- BST InfrasteelMS and GI pipe. BST Infrasteel supplies and distributes rather than rolling its own, so on project work ask us for the marking on the pipe itself, not only for the name on the bill.
- Baba IspatShed pipe, MS and GI. Tell us the section and the wall thickness and we will confirm what is standing.
- ACCCement, in three bags: ACC Gold, ACC F2R and the plain bag. Which of the three is stacked depends on what the last truck brought, so fix the bag and the bori count on the same call.
- UltraTechCement, in three bags: UltraTech Plain, UltraTech Premium and Weather Plus. Say which one the engineer wrote on the drawing, because the three are not interchangeable at the mixer.
- NuvocoCement: Nuvoco Concreto, Concreto Uno and the plain bag. The name traces back to Lafarge, and the bill carries it as Nuvoco.
- AmbujaCement, the plain bag. Ambuja sells several application products nationally; confirm the SKU if an engineer has named one.
- Shree CementCement. Shree sells a long list of bags across the country, Bangur among them, and we do not carry all of it. Name the bag on the call before you plan around it.
- MP Birla CementCement. MP Birla is painted on the board over our own shop and it is on the rack under it. Perfect Plus and Concrecem sit in the Birla Corporation range; which bag is stacked is a phone call.
- Dr. FixitWaterproofing liquid. The one line on these racks that is not steel. Pidilite's waterproofing brand and one of the smaller lines we keep. It goes out on the same vehicle as the sariya and cement, which saves a second trip.
- EverestFibre cement roofing sheet from Everest Industries, with published widths and lengths per profile. We do not call the current sheet an asbestos sheet: what is in the pack today is the maker's to state, not ours.
- CharminarRoofing sheet under the Charminar name, now inside BirlaNu's roofing business. The old counter word for it has outlived the old product, so ask by profile and length and we will read out what the pack says.
- KonarkCorrugated cement roofing sheet from UAL Industries Limited. IS 459 is the standard covering corrugated and semi corrugated sheet of this kind. Settle length, pitch and count on the call, before the vehicle is loaded.
- SolarOne of the two names our fabrication rack runs on, beside HMB: angle, flat, square, round bar and shutter sections in plain MS and in GI, and sariya under the same label. Solar comes from the Alaknanda TMT group's mill, and it is our first pick for grill and gate work: long stocked, good finish, no complaints back.
- Durgapur TMTSariya billed to us as Durgapur TMT. Durgapur is a place. It tells you where a mill sits and nothing about whose steel is on the bar, so read it as a market label. Where the job needs an approved make, we work from the mill name instead.
- Dyna FiberFibre sheet. Tell us the thickness and size the job needs and we will confirm what is standing.
- CognigentMS and GI pipe, kept in small quantity. Cognigent is the spelling as the name reaches us; tell us the outer diameter and wall thickness and we will confirm what is standing.
- MCHeavy structural billed to us as MC: joist, channel and beam. On tender work, take the marking off the section and the test certificate.

Before you order
A name on this list is not stock in the godown
This is what has come through our racks. What is standing on the floor this morning is a phone call. Cement moves by the truckload and sariya moves by the bundle, so the same brand runs deep one week and short the next. Name the brand and the size in the same sentence when you call and we will tell you what is in before anything is fixed. If the one you want is short we say so on that call, before any advance is taken.
On tender work the label is not the point
For a house slab or a grill, the name on the invoice is usually enough. For tender and project work it is not: the approved make list decides, and the load has to carry a test certificate that ties back to a mill. Several names above are labels rather than mills, so if the job needs an approved make, say so on the call and we will work from the mill name and the MTC. On sariya the ISI mark decides more than the brand does. The Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2024 makes it compulsory on 8 mm and above and leaves the smaller sizes outside its scope, so on a thin bundle a missing mark is not a fault. Aap kaun kaun se brand rakhte hain?
Sariya in SAIL, Tata Tiscon, Shyam Steel, Balmukund TMT, Alaknanda TMT and Solar. Cement in ACC, UltraTech, Nuvoco, Ambuja, Shree and MP Birla. Fabrication sections in HMB and Solar, pipe in Satyam, BST Infrasteel, Baba Ispat and Kamdhenu, roofing in Tata Durashine, Jindal, Kamdhenu, Everest, Charminar, Konark and Dyna Fiber. Kya aap in brands ke authorized dealer hain?
We are a dealer, a supplier, a distributor and a stockist, and for HMB we supply and distribute. What we will not do is put the word authorized against a name whose certificate we cannot show you. If a tender wants proof of the buying channel, call and we will tell you what we can produce for that brand.
Ek hi brand ka poora saman mil jayega?
No. Each brand covers what it makes, so a house going up usually draws four or five names off this list. SAIL is deep on sariya and sections, HMB on fabrication material, ACC and UltraTech on cement, Tata Durashine and Jindal on the roof. All of it loads onto one vehicle, which is the point of buying it in one place.
Brand wise rate list mil sakti hai?
No printed rate, here or as a list on WhatsApp. Sariya and cement rates move daily and a stale number only causes an argument at the counter. Call +91 6202 967 218 with the brand, the size and the quantity and today's rate for that exact thing comes on the same call.
