Steel and cement rates in Saharsa move with the mill, with the freight and with the week. What was right on Monday morning is often not what the counter is quoting on Thursday, so the number worth having is the one standing when you ring, against the material you actually want. Tell us what it is, the diameter or the grade, how much, and the village it has to reach.
The same call settles two things beside the rate. Whether that size is standing on the rack this morning, and what the carriage to your road comes to. Both change the money that finally leaves your hand, and both are answered while you are still on the phone.
Behind the number
What moves a rate between two mornings
Sariya moves with the mill and with the grade. Fe 500 and Fe 550D are two lines and two rates, and a brand going per piece one week and by weight the next changes the arithmetic before the mill has moved at all. Cement moves with the plant, with the bag and with the season, and through the monsoon the whole rack tightens. Sheet and section move with the coil, and with the finish: black and galvanised are two answers.
Carriage is the third mover and it is the local one. A load to Saur Bazar and a load to Chhatapur leave the same yard and do not cost the same, because the road decides whether a tempo goes or a truck does. It is charged at the market rate for that route and it is said out with the material, never afterwards. How to ask so the answer is usable
Ask for one line at a time. Sariya ka rate kya hai has ten answers standing behind it; 12 mm Fe 550D, do ton, Sonbarsha tak has one. Name the material, the size, the grade or the brand, the quantity and where it has to go, and what comes back is a number you can put straight into an estimate.
Then ask what the rate is per. Sariya sells per piece and by weight both, and which basis a line is on that day moves with the grade and with the brand, so settle the basis before the figure. The drawing, or the mistri's list, so the sizes are read off paper and not off memory. The stage the site is at, because a slab, a boundary wall and a gate draw from three different racks. The village and the last road the vehicle has to take. On tender and project work, add the approved make and say whether an MTC has to travel with the material.

Rate phone par hi kyun milta hai?
Because a rate typed in the morning is wrong by the afternoon, and the wrong one costs you more than the call does. Ring +91 6202 967 218 and you get the figure standing against your size and brand at that moment, with stock confirmed in the same breath.
Aaj bola gaya rate kal bhi chalega?
Take it as good for the call it was given on. If a day or two has passed, ring again before you load; on a big order it is worth reconfirming the same morning the vehicle goes. Nobody at this counter will hold you to a stale number.
Carriage ka kharcha material ke rate me juda hota hai?
It is quoted separately, at the market rate for your route, and it is said out on the same call. What decides it is the road and the vehicle it takes, which is why a village 20 km out and a village 40 km out can land closer together than you would guess.
Bade order par rate alag hota hai?
Tell us the full quantity on the call and the rate comes back against that quantity. A single bundle and a full truck are two different conversations, and so is a running site that draws every week. Say what the whole job needs, even if it goes in three loads.
