Jay Shree Infra is a Tata Tiscon dealer in Saharsa and supplies Tiscon sariya to Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura. Tata Tiscon is the reinforcement brand of Tata Steel Limited. Tata sells the bar as Tata Tiscon 550SD, keeps a corrosion resistant line it writes CRS550D, and sells ready made stirrups as Superlinks and Ultima GFX. At our counter the Tiscon name goes on the sariya and on the binding wire, and both go out from the one premises on Meera Talkies Road.

For a house slab, column or footing, Tiscon is the sariya to ask for when the engineer or the family wants a Tata name on the bundle. Tell us the diameter and the Fe grade together on the phone and we confirm what is standing before the order is fixed. Every sariya name we keep sits together on the TMT bars (sariya) page.

Reading the tag

The letters after Tiscon are Tata's own

550SD, CRS550D, Superlinks, Ultima GFX. Those are names Tata prints on its own shop, and none of them is a grade in IS 1786. The grades that standard sets are the Fe numbers, and the D in Fe 500D or Fe 550D is something the standard itself defines. An SD or a CRS is a maker's shorthand for a line it sells. So a drawing asking for Fe 550D and a buyer asking for 550SD are two different questions.

On a Tiscon load the useful things are the diameter, the Fe grade, and the ISI mark on the bundle with the certificate that travels alongside. How far that mark reaches, and the two small sizes the quality control order leaves out of it, are on the TMT Bar (Sariya) page. Weight per metre is the same arithmetic whoever rolled the bar, and the sariya weight chart shows the working under the table.

Stirrups

Superlinks, and the ring a drawing asks for

Tata publishes Superlinks as ready made stirrups, bent from ribbed TMT rebar on automatic machines, at a 135 degree interlocking hook with a 65 mm hook length. It is a real Tata product, sold on Tata's own shop.

We do not keep a ready made stirrup, under this name or under any other. What we keep toward a cage is the bar and the tie, and the tie is on the binding wire page. If a drawing names a bent and coated stirrup, say so before the order is fixed and we will tell you what can be arranged.

One family, several names

Which Tata name belongs on which material

Tata Shaktee is the GC chadra name, Tata Steelium the CR sheet one, and pipe arrives under Tata Structura and Tata Pipes. Colour coated roofing comes as Tata Durashine, which Tata Steel Colors Private Limited publishes. Our roofing and shed rack is where that one sits.

So an order that only says Tata has named a family and settled nothing. Tell us the material first and the name follows on its own, and if the material is sariya then Tiscon is the one you meant.

Questions

Tiscon ke sawal

Kya Tata Tiscon ki authorized dealership ka certificate aapke paas hai?

Tiscon sits on the rack as a stockist's stock, bought by us and billed by us. What a phone call settles is which diameter is standing and what the bundle tag reads.

Tata Tiscon 550SD aur Fe 550D ek hi cheez hai?

They are two different kinds of name. Fe 550D is a grade in IS 1786:2008, which is the standard that says what the steel has to do. 550SD is what Tata Steel calls its own line on its own shop, and Tata's page for it cites IS 1786:2008 and IS 13920:2016. A drawing asks for the grade and a counter asks for the line, so read us both.

Tiscon sariya kaun kaun se diameter me milta hai?

The sariya we deal in runs from 5.5 mm to 32 mm across brands. Not every size is in every brand on a given day, so say the diameter and the Fe grade together on the call and we confirm what is standing in Tiscon before the order is fixed.

Ready made ring ya stirrup Tiscon ka milega?

Tata publishes them as Superlinks, ready made stirrups bent from ribbed TMT rebar, at a 135 degree interlocking hook with a 65 mm hook length. We do not keep a ready made stirrup, in this name or in any other. Tell us what the drawing asks for and we will say what can be arranged.

Gaon ki site tak Tiscon ka bundle pahunch jayega?

Yes. Tiscon loads go to all 34 blocks of the three districts on our own vehicles, and the vehicle is picked by the weight and by the approach. A bundle is long, so the last stretch of road matters most: name the village and say whether a truck can turn at the end of it. Freight runs at market rates.

Say the letters and we will read them back

550SD, CRS550D, Superlinks: Tata's own names, and only one of the three is likely to be the thing you came for. Read us what the tag or the tender says, name the diameter and the village, and we will tell you what is standing and when the bundle can leave.
