A rolling shutter is three things, and Jay Shree Infra keeps all three at its Saharsa godown: the shutter patti the curtain is rolled from, the guide channel it runs in, and the spring that carries its weight. The opening decides the order
Every size here comes off the doorway and not off a rack. Guide channel arrives in straight stock lengths and gets cut to the clear height; the lath is cut to the clear width. Where a shutter is being replaced, measure the opening as well as the old shutter, because the old one may have been built short. Past these three parts, a shutter takes a shaft, bearings, a lock, fasteners and paint, so ask what of that can ride on the same load.
Three parts, three ways of selling them
The lath goes by weight, by running length, by the piece and by the bundle. Guide channel goes by the piece, by running length or by weight. A spring goes by the piece or as a set. So one shutter can be quoted three ways inside a single call, and two estimates only compare when both stand on the same basis. MS black or GI, and where the shutter has to stand
MS black is the plain lath and gets painted or powder coated after the shutter is welded up. GI is galvanised before it reaches the workshop, so a shutter open to the road and the dust of a bazaar front usually goes that way. HMB runs both, iGrill uncoated and Grill Guard galvanised, and the 20 ft it publishes sits against its grill and gate sections, which is the stock length a guide channel is cut down from. Shutter patti is cut to an opening and carries no stock length at all. Where a new shutter has to sit beside one already hung, the old one settles which of the two it goes in. Shutter ka spring kaise choose hota hai?
Off the shutter, not off a size number. The width, the height, the weight of the finished curtain and the shaft it winds on all decide it, so a spring is settled once the curtain is measured. Bring the old spring or the finished curtain's weight when you order, and we match it at the counter.
Banaya banaya shutter mil jayega?
What goes out from here is the material. Rolling the curtain, setting the guides and loading the spring is a fabrication workshop's work. If a workshop is on your job already, they can ring us with the sizes. If you are taking estimates, ask each one which lath and which guide is in the figure.
Shutter patti running foot me chalti hai ya tol me?
