Tata Durashine colours and sizes
Tata Durashine's colour options run to ten published shades, Asian White through three reds to Smart Grey, in four painted thicknesses from 0.37 to 0.62 mm and lengths from 8 ft up to 24 ft. Every figure is Tata Steel Colors' own, and which shade and size is standing at the Saharsa godown on a given morning is settled on the call.

A colour chadra order needs four answers before the vehicle is booked: the shade, the thickness, the length and the profile. Durashine is unusual among the colour sheet names sold in this belt in publishing all four on its maker's own pages, so a Durashine roof can be planned down to the sheet count before anyone picks up the phone. Who the maker is and what Jay Shree Infra keeps under the name is on the Tata Durashine dealer page; how the sheet stands against Jindal's is weighed on the Durashine vs Jindal comparison.
The roof profile and the wall profile are two different sheets under the one name. A laid roof sheet covers 1015 mm of width and a wall sheet 1110 mm, in the same four thicknesses and the same ten colours. Not every size is in every brand on a given day, Durashine included; call and we confirm what is standing.

| Line | Painted thicknessmm, total painted | Effective covermm, nominal | Lengthsft, maker's approximate figures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roof profile | 0.37 / 0.47 / 0.52 / 0.62 | 1015 (1072 overall) | 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 |
| Wall profile | 0.37 / 0.47 / 0.52 / 0.62 | 1110 (1150 overall) | 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 |
| CoolShield (insulated) | 0.37 / 0.47 / 0.52 / 0.62 | not published | 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 |
Effective cover is the width a sheet adds to the roof once its edge rib laps the sheet before it; the piece itself is wider, 1072 mm overall on the roof profile and 1150 mm on the wall. The length column is the full run the maker's leaflet and the CoolShield page publish; the roof and wall web pages stop their own lists at 16 ft and 14 ft, and the leaflet prints 5490 mm against both 18 ft and 20 ft, so lengths are quoted in feet and anything past 16 ft is confirmed on the call before a roof is planned around it.
The colours
Ten names on the shade card
Durashine's ten standard colours are Asian White, Cool Blue, Nuvo Blue, Bright Green, Pearl Green, Castle Red, Passion Red, Cherry Red, Coffee Brown and Smart Grey. Three of the ten are reds and two each are blues and greens, so saying red on the phone still leaves three sheets it could mean; the published name is what fixes a shade. The maker's own FAQ prints the grey as Graphite Grey where its leaflet says Smart Grey, so for a grey roof, ask for grey and settle the exact shade off the card.
Every colour is published as subject to local availability, in the maker's own words, and the leaflet adds that its printed shades are for reference only and the actual product colour may vary. So a shade is never fixed off a phone screen or a printout: it is read off a standing sheet or the shade card at the counter, and because ridge, flashing and the other accessories are published in the same colours as the sheets, the trim can be matched to the roof in the same breath.
Width and slope
What 1015 mm of cover means for the count
Overall width and effective cover are two numbers on the same sheet. A Durashine roof sheet measures 1072 mm edge to edge but adds only 1015 mm to the roof, because one rib rides over the next sheet's edge. Divide the width of one slope by 1.015 metres and round up, and that is its sheet count. The wall profile covers more, 1110 mm, on a much shallower rib, 11.6 mm deep against the roof profile's 28.5 mm, and that rib depth is most of what makes a roof sheet a roof sheet.
Two more of the maker's figures belong on the drawing. The minimum roof slope Durashine publishes is 5 degrees, so a nearly flat lean-to sits below what the sheet is made for. And the steel is zinc aluminium alloy coated with a minimum yield strength of 550 MPa, which in plain words means a harder steel, made to take a heavier pull before it gives. How far one sheet laps the next along the slope is worked through on the sheet length and overlap guide, and the whole colour sheet rack, other brands beside Durashine, is on the colour chadra page.
The other two
CoolShield lengths and the two crimp curves
CoolShield, the insulated Durashine sheet, is published in the same four painted thicknesses and in lengths from 8 to 24 ft, built as painted steel over a 5 mm XLPE insulation layer with an aluminium foil face beneath. The shade for an insulated roof is settled on the call, the same way its length is. What the sheet is and the jobs it goes on are on the CoolShield page.
The curved sheet, printed LongLine Crimp by the maker, is published in two typical curves, 273 mm and 469 mm, both subject to local availability, with a made-to-measure curve past those two. Curve, colour and length travel together on a crimp order; the rest sits on the crimped sheet page.

Questions
Durashine ke rang aur naap ke sawal
Durashine chadra kitne rang me milti hai?
Ten published colours: Asian White, Cool Blue, Nuvo Blue, Bright Green, Pearl Green, Castle Red, Passion Red, Cherry Red, Coffee Brown and Smart Grey. The maker itself marks every colour as subject to local availability, so the shade for your roof is fixed off the card at the counter or read out on +91 6202 967 218.
Durashine sheet ki chaudai kitni hoti hai?
The roof profile is 1072 mm wide overall and covers 1015 mm once laid, because one rib laps the next sheet. The wall profile is 1150 mm overall with 1110 mm of cover. Count sheets by dividing the roof's width by the cover figure, never by the overall one.
Roof profile aur wall profile ek hi sheet hai kya?
No. The two share the four painted thicknesses and the ten colours, but the roof sheet's rib runs 28.5 mm deep against the wall sheet's 11.6 mm, and their cover widths differ. The rib depth is most of what makes the roof sheet a roof sheet, so name the profile with the order.
Durashine me 16 foot se lambi sheet milegi kya?
On the maker's own paper, yes: the Durashine leaflet runs its roof and wall length tables to 24 ft, and CoolShield's page publishes 8 to 24 ft. The maker's web lists stop earlier, at 16 ft for roof and 14 ft for wall, so a length past 16 ft is confirmed on +91 6202 967 218 before the roof is planned around it.
Leaflet me jo rang dikh raha hai, sheet bhi waisi hi hogi?
Treat the printed shade as a guide, not a promise. The maker's own leaflet says its colour shades are for reference only and the actual product colour may vary. Pick the shade off a real sheet or the shade card at the counter rather than off a screen or a printout.
Before you order
Four answers that fix a Durashine order
Each one closes a choice the tables and the shade card leave open.
Kaun sa rang, card se dekh kar ya naam se?
Ten names are published and three of them are reds. A shade read off the card or a standing sheet lands right; a colour named from memory often does not.
Roof profile, wall profile, CoolShield ya crimp?
The four lines share their thicknesses and part company on cover width, insulation and curve. Say the job and the line follows from it.
Motai kaun si, aur lambai kitne foot?
Four painted thicknesses and lengths to 24 ft are published; what is racked in Saharsa on the day is the shorter list the call confirms.
Chhat ki chaudai kitni, aur dhalan kitni?
The slope's width against the 1015 mm cover gives the sheet count, and the maker's 5 degree minimum slope decides whether this sheet suits the roof at all.
