Rolling shutter material: what one shutter needs
One rolling shutter is built from six parts: the curtain profile that rolls up, a guide channel on each side, a spring inside the pipe that carries the curtain's weight, a bottom plate at the curtain's own bottom edge, and a hood on top. Only one of the six has a published weight, HMB's own 20x10 mm gate channel section at 0.82 kg a metre in 2 mm gauge and 0.86 kg a metre in 3 mm; the rest are cut and fitted to the opening in front of them.

A rolling shutter is not sold off a size chart the way a length of angle is. The curtain rolls up between two guide channels fixed to the frame, onto a pipe that the spring sits inside; the spring's job is to take the curtain's own weight off the hand or the chain pulling it. The bottom plate is the reinforced edge the lock sits into, and the hood boxes in the rolled curtain and the pipe at the top so rain and dust stay out. Every one of those six is cut or picked to the opening it goes into, which is why the order for a shutter starts with a measurement rather than a size.

HMB publishes the guide channel figures above under its own Gate Channel line, not a separate rolling shutter guide catalogue, and it prints the identical weight whether the finish is MS black or galvanised. Whether that section is the exact track your shutter's frame needs is worth checking against the opening before it is cut, not assumed off the name alone.
The curtain profile, the spring, the bottom plate, the pipe and the hood carry no published weight anywhere, HMB's own or otherwise. That is not unusual for a rolling shutter: every one of the five is made to the opening it closes, so a weight fixed in advance would be wrong for most doorways it was applied to.
The guide channel is the exception because HMB happens to sell that same 20x10 mm section for collapsible gates too, under its own name, and prints a weight for it there. Two gauges are on the list, 2 mm at 0.82 kg a metre and 3 mm at 0.86 kg a metre, and both come in MS black and galvanised at the same weight.
How it goes together
Curtain, channel, pipe and spring, in the order they work
The curtain is built from interlocking profile pattis, cut and joined to the opening's width, in Plain, Barfi, Round or Flat design. Its two edges run inside a guide channel fixed down each side of the frame, which is what keeps the curtain straight as it goes up and down and stops wind from pushing it out of its track.
At the top, the curtain rolls onto a pipe. A spring sits inside that pipe and is wound to carry roughly the curtain's own weight, so lifting or lowering it by hand, by chain or through a gear takes far less effort than the bare weight of the steel would need. The hood sits over the rolled curtain and the pipe, closing that gap at the top of the opening.

What we need off the opening first
Width and height, called the drop, are the two numbers that set the curtain's length, the guide channel's length on each side, the pipe's length and the hood's width all at once. Whether the frame sits inside the opening or outside it changes how much extra width the channel and hood need beyond the bare masonry gap.
Hand chain, gear or motor operation changes how the spring and the pipe are loaded and whether the hood needs a mount for a motor box. All of this is settled on the call once the two main numbers, width and height, are in hand; the parts list above is what gets built once they are.
MS ya GI, Solar ya HMB
Finish and brand for a Saharsa doorway
Galvanised holds up better against a shop or warehouse front that takes the monsoon and gets opened and shut every day; a black shutter that is going to be painted, or one fitted inside a covered veranda, does fine in MS. HMB publishes the sizes above under both finishes at the same weight, so the choice is about the coating, not the steel underneath it.
Solar carries the same curtain, channel and spring line off the Alaknanda group's mill, in black and galvanised, and is this shop's other long stocked line for shutter work. Neither brand publishes a full catalogue the way a structural section does; what a particular job needs is confirmed against the opening on the call, in either line.
What is fixed and what is not
One published weight among six parts, and why that is normal
A rolling shutter is closer to a fabricated assembly than to a length of steel bought off a rack. Five of its six parts have no size list anywhere because a shutter fitter cuts and builds each one against the doorway standing in front of him; only the guide channel happens to share a section with a product HMB does publish a weight for.
IS 6248, the Bureau of Indian Standards specification for metal rolling shutters and rolling grills, governs the product as a category; it does not fix a single size, gauge or weight that applies to every doorway, which is the same reason no page can either.
