MS pipe weight chart by size and gauge
A 25 mm MS pipe in the Light class weighs about 1.98 kg per metre, the same bore in Medium weighs 2.41 kg and in Heavy 2.93 kg, because IS 1239 (Part 1) keeps the outside diameter fixed for a nominal bore and lets the wall thickness set the class.

Jay Shree Infra keeps round MS pipe at the Saharsa godown, black and galvanised both, and this chart is the weight table behind whichever bore leaves it. The trade calls that wall reading the gauge; the standard calls it class, and marks it L, M or H on the tube. Both words point at the same figure, and the chart below carries it for every bore from 15 to 100 mm. Not every bore is in every class on a given day.
Round pipe is one order and square or rectangular hollow section is a different one, under a different standard with no class letter at all. The chart below is the round pipe's own weight table; the hollow section side of the rack is worked out on the MS pipe page.

These are Jindal's own published figures for black and galvanised ERW steel tube to IS 1239 (Part 1), equivalent to BS 1387. The weight column is plain end; a screwed and socketed pipe carries a little more steel in the same bore. BIS's own licence scope for the standard runs to 150 mm nominal bore in all three classes, and this chart stops at 100 mm because that is the range ordered here; call for a bore above it.
Outside diameter is fixed for a bore. Look at 25 mm: 33.7 mm across the outside whether the wall is Light, Medium or Heavy. What moves inside that fixed figure is the wall, 2.6 mm for Light, 3.2 mm for Medium, 4.0 mm for Heavy, and the weight is a reading of that wall.
Weight climbs with the bore and the class together, not one at a time. A 15 mm Heavy pipe weighs 1.44 kg per metre and a 100 mm Light pipe weighs 9.75 kg, so the bore moves the figure more than the class does. Read both off the drawing before asking for a rate.
What the letter means
The class is the wall, not the outside size
L, M and H stand for Light, Medium and Heavy, and BIS's own product manual for IS 1239 (Part 1) has the class letter embossed along the tube at intervals of about a metre, with a colour band applied at the works before the pipe leaves it. A 40 mm bore measures 48.3 mm across the outside in every class; only the wall and the weight change under that one outside figure.
Which class a job needs comes off the drawing or the tender, not off habit. A water or gas line reads its class straight from IS 1239 because the wall carries the pressure; a bracket or a light frame doing no more than holding its own weight can run in the lighter class the drawing allows. Say the class on the call along with the bore, because two pipes of the same bore in two classes neither weigh nor cost the same.
How the tube is made
The strip it is welded from, and the length it is sold in
A round MS pipe under IS 1239 (Part 1) starts as steel strip, welded along its length into a tube. BIS's own product manual for the standard names the raw material as hot rolled strip to IS 10748, or cold reduced strip to IS 513 (Part 1), the same standard behind the CR sheet on this rack.
A standard length off this rack is 6 metres. At that length a 25 mm Medium pipe runs to about 14.5 kg, 2.41 kg per metre times six, and the same bore in Heavy comes to about 17.6 kg. Plain, bevelled or screwed and socketed ends are the question after the bore and the class.

The limit
What the chart is, and what it is not
Jindal's published table is a notional weight, worked out at steel's own density against the standard's wall thickness, and every licensed mill's actual pipe is made to a tolerance around that figure. A different mill's pipe of the same bore and class sits close to this table, not exactly on it.
So the chart answers what a bore and a class should weigh; what a specific bundle on the floor weighs is on its own tag and its own test certificate. Read the class letter off the tube and the figure against it here, and confirm the exact weight for that bundle on the call.

25 mm MS pipe ka weight kitna hota hai?
About 1.98 kg per metre in the Light class, 2.41 kg in Medium and 2.93 kg in Heavy, under IS 1239 (Part 1). All three sit on the same 33.7 mm outside diameter; only the wall inside it changes, and that wall is what the weight is reading.
Pipe ka gauge kya hota hai, size se alag kaise hai?
Gauge is the trade word for what the standard calls class, Light, Medium or Heavy, and it is the wall thickness inside a fixed outside diameter. A 40 mm bore stays 48.3 mm across the outside in every class; the gauge is the second figure on the order, after the bore.
Pura 6 meter ka pipe kitne kilo ka padega?
Multiply the per-metre figure by six. A 25 mm Medium pipe at 2.41 kg per metre runs to about 14.5 kg over a 6 metre length, and the same bore in Heavy runs to about 17.6 kg. The chart above carries the per-metre figure for every bore and class up to 100 mm.
Chart ka weight aur asli pipe ka weight match karega?
Close, not exact. The chart is a notional weight worked out at steel's own density against the standard's wall thickness, and a licensed mill's actual pipe is made to a tolerance around that figure. The bundle's own tag and test certificate carry the weight for that specific lot.
Chaukor ya rectangular pipe ka weight bhi isi chart se niklega?
No, that is a different standard. Square and rectangular hollow section is ordered under IS 4923 by its two outside sides and its wall, with no class letter at all, and its own sizes are worked out on the MS pipe page.

Which class does the job need, Light, Medium or Heavy?
A water or gas line reads its class off IS 1239 because the wall carries the pressure; a bracket or a light frame can run lighter. Bring the drawing's letter to the call.
What nominal bore is on the drawing or the old piece?
The bore fixes the outside diameter in every class; a vernier on a piece already at the site gives it faster than a description does.
Black pipe or galvanised?
Both sit on the same rack under different names; galvanised carries the zinc coating for water lines and outdoor work.
Full 6 metre lengths, or cut shorter?
6 metres is the length this rack normally carries; a cut length is a separate ask and worth saying at the start.
How many pieces, or what total weight, does the job need?
MS pipe leaves this counter on piece, bundle, kilo and tonne; fix the basis before the figure so the bill and the drawing agree.
