A signage frame is sized to the board it is going to carry, not to a shop's own size list. A flex panel a few feet across, a roadside hoarding on two or four posts, and a shop signboard hung off a wall each take a different section, and the board's own height and width decide the order before the steel is bought. Angle does the framing, patti backs the corners and takes the mounting screws, and pipe carries the load on anything raised off the ground on legs.
Where the frame stands decides black against galvanised faster than anything else on the rack. A post meant to stay up through the weather calls for the zinc coat, and a frame built for one job and taken down after can go out in black instead. Both finishes are kept deep at this counter, in the same sections, so a workshop in Saharsa, Supaul or Madhepura orders either one on the same call.
The work
What a flex and hoarding frame is built from
Shop signboards, flex banner frames, two post and four post hoardings, and the standee and arch frames that go up around a mela or a launch all come off the same rack. Angle forms the outer frame in most of them, pipe carries anything raised off two legs, and patti backs the joints and the points where the sheet or the printed flex is fixed on.
The board's own dimensions settle the order, because a frame built oversize wastes steel and one built short does not hold the sheet flat. Bring the height and width to the call and the section list comes back sized to that board, not to a standard nobody printed on it.
Your rack
The sections a signage frame is welded from
Four pages, one for each section a signage frame draws on, naming the sizes standing and the finish available against each.
- MS Angle (Angle)The outer frame every signboard and hoarding starts from, corner welded, in black and in GI.
- Flat (Patti)Patti for the back bracing and the points where the flex sheet or the printed board gets fixed on.
- MS PipeRound and square black pipe for hoarding posts and standee legs, cut to the height the site needs.
- GI PipeThe same pipe under a zinc coat, for a post that has to stand outside through the season.
Choosing
Just the frame, or a post as well
A flat signboard against a wall usually needs only the frame, so angle and patti off the structural steel page settle it. A hoarding raised off the ground needs a post as well, and that comes off the pipes page, round or square, in the size the height calls for.
What the zinc actually buys a post standing outside is worked through on MS and GI, the difference. Angle, patti and pipe all come in both finishes here, so the same size is available whichever way the job needs it, and not every size is in every brand on a given day.
Ordering
Booking a signage order at this counter
Ring with the board's height and width, the section for the frame and the post, and the finish. Stock is checked on the call and the same morning's rate comes back against that exact size, so the job can be quoted before a length is cut.
Our own vehicles carry the load into every one of the 34 blocks spread across the three districts, and carriage is billed at the route's market rate. A hoarding job usually needs a longer single length than a signboard frame does, so say the longest length you need when you call, because that decides the vehicle. The counter is open All 7 days, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, so a frame order booked ahead of an event is still a call worth making.
Questions
What signage fabricators ask
Flex board ke frame me angle ke saath patti bhi chahiye kya?
Yes, angle for the outer frame and patti for the back bracing is the usual pair, in black for a board that stays indoors or under cover. Where the frame stands outside, ask for both in GI instead. Bring the board's height and width to the call and we will size the frame to it.
Hoarding ke pipe GI lena chahiye ya black?
GI where the post stands outside for a season or longer, because the zinc coat is what carries it through the weather. A frame going up for one job and coming down after can go out in black instead. Both are kept in the same sizes, so switching between them is one word on the call.
Ek hi sign board ke frame ke liye bhi milega?
Yes, one board's worth of section or a hoarding's worth, there is no minimum. Give us the height and width and the section list for that one frame comes back on the same call.
Hoarding ke post ki height kitni le sakte hain?
Pipe goes out in the mill lengths it comes in, cut to the height your job needs on the same visit. Say the tallest single length in the order when you ring, because a long post and a small tempo do not always agree, and that is what decides which vehicle comes.
Board ka size alag hai, uske hisab se section milega?
Bring the board's own height and width to the call rather than asking for a standard size, because a signage frame is built to the board and not the other way round. The section, the finish and how many lengths follow once that number is settled.

Board size, section and the finish
Three things settle a signage order: what is standing, what today's rate is, and when the vehicle carrying it can reach the workshop.
