Tata Durashine comes from Tata Steel Colors Private Limited and reaches this godown as the Durashine Roof and Wall range. Kamdhenu's colour sheet is Colour Max, from Kamdhenu Limited, a company this counter has long known off its pipe rack. Both are painted steel sheet for shed, godown and house roofs across Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura, and in sheet of every kind Tata is the name that moves the most here.
A buyer weighing these two usually holds a quote in one name and a neighbour's roof in the other. Five rows fill from both sides and one does not. Kamdhenu prints a thickness range, two effective widths and a strength figure for Colour Max, which is more than most colour sheet names put on paper, and stops short of a length list. Durashine prints its lengths, 16 ft for the plain roof sheet and 24 ft for the insulated CoolShield, so on length the Tata side has a table and the Kamdhenu side has a phone call.
Read the thickness row with one care, and the yield row with one explanation. Tata's 0.37 to 0.62 mm counts the paint in the total; Kamdhenu's 0.30 to 0.80 mm arrives without saying whether the paint is counted, so ask which way a quoted number was measured before treating the bigger figure as the thicker sheet. Yield strength is the pull the steel bears before it stretches for good: Durashine fixes one floor at 550, Colour Max spans a range, and with a range the coil's own marking says which strength actually arrived.

Where Durashine earns the first call
Durashine is where our colour sheet stock runs deepest, and it is the sheet with the fewest open questions hanging off an order. One roof profile, four painted thicknesses, a printed 1015 mm of cover and printed lengths mean a mistri can count sheets for a roof from the maker's own table before anything is loaded, and check the bill against the same table after.
The single strength figure pulls the same way. A line published at one minimum, 550 MPa, is a line an engineer's note or a tender entry can name in three words, with nothing left to confirm coil by coil. And when the job wants more than plain sheet, an insulated CoolShield roof or a curved crimp canopy, the same Durashine name covers it.

What Colour Max brings to the rack
Kamdhenu is a name buyers here already trust off its black and galvanised pipe, and its colour sheet stands on real published figures of its own: a thickness range, coating numbers and two Hi-Rib widths, the wider of which covers 1218 mm of roof per sheet against the usual 1015. On a long shed a wider sheet means fewer sheets and fewer side joins, so where that width has come in, it is worth asking for by name.
The coating figures deserve plain words. Z120 on the GI sheet means 120 grams of zinc spread over every square metre of steel; AZ150 and AZ70 on the galvalume sheet count a mix of aluminium and zinc the same way; more grams is a heavier protective coat under the paint. We hold Kamdhenu in smaller volume than Tata, so ring before a vehicle is fixed for it.

For most roofs we say Durashine first: it is the colour sheet we keep the deepest stock of, its thickness, cover width and lengths are all on Tata's own page, and its strength is fixed at one published floor. Kamdhenu Colour Max is a fair sheet with real figures of its own, and it is the natural call when you are matching a roof already done in Kamdhenu. Neither is a wrong buy; what is standing at your size on the day often settles it.
Kamdhenu Colour Max kya hai?
Colour Max is Kamdhenu Limited's own name for its colour coated steel sheet, for roofing and wall cladding. The maker publishes three profiles under it, Hi-Rib, Tile and Liner, in plain galvanised and in galvalume coatings. What reaches this rack under the Kamdhenu name is confirmed against the sheet itself when you ring.
Kamdhenu ki colour chadra kitni moti aati hai?
Kamdhenu publishes 0.30 to 0.80 mm for the Hi-Rib profile, without saying whether the paint is counted in that number. Durashine's four figures, 0.37 to 0.62 mm, are the total with paint. So when two quotes sit side by side, ask which way each number was measured, and ask us which thickness is standing in the Kamdhenu name that day.

Kamdhenu leaves length out of its Colour Max table, so length is settled against what has come in. GI coating aur galvalume coating me kya farak hai?
GI means the steel is coated in zinc alone; galvalume means a mix of aluminium and zinc. Kamdhenu publishes both for Colour Max, Z120 on the GI side and AZ150 or AZ70 on the galvalume side, and each number is grams of coating metal on every square metre of sheet. That coat is what stands between the steel and rust, and the colour goes on over it.
