SeQR is the retail sariya of Steel Authority of India and reaches this godown in Fe 500D and Fe 550D. Super Shakti is a TMT brand with a site of its own, supershakti.in, and the line we stock from it is Fe 600, the highest grade the brand makes. One rack holds both, and they answer two different questions.
A buyer lands on this pair from two directions. A thekedar with a tender wants the make that clears the department's list without argument, and that is SAIL. An engineer or a house builder whose drawing says the highest grade wants the strongest bar for the same thickness, and that is when the Super Shakti 600 bundle comes off the rack. SAIL publishes SeQR in Fe 500D and Fe 550D with six diameters against them, 8 mm to 25 mm at a 12.0 metre length. Super Shakti's site leads on its Fe 550+ SD bar and names Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550 and Fe 550D beside it; the Fe 600 line is the top of that brand's range and it is the one we bring in, with the diameters counted at the counter rather than off a brochure.
The ISI row reads the same on both sides because the law writes it: the Steel and Steel Products Quality Control Order of 2024, S.O. 3716(E), puts IS 1786 bar of 8 mm and above under the standard mark, whoever rolled it. The certificate row is where the paper differs: a mill test certificate travels with every SAIL load as a matter of course, and on a Super Shakti order ask for the certificate while the order is being placed.

Where a department, a contractor's engineer or a project consultant has to approve the make, SAIL walks in already known: a Government of India steel maker, the ISI mark on the bar, and a mill test certificate riding with every consignment, which is the paper a site engineer asks to see before the first pour. Across this belt SAIL sits on more approved lists than most private names manage, so a quotation built on SeQR rarely comes back with a question.

The premium pick
Super Shakti 600 when the grade must be the highest
The grade number on a sariya says how heavy a pull the steel holds before it stretches, and 600 stands above the 500 and 550 bars most drawings are built on. Super Shakti's Fe 600 line is the highest grade that brand rolls, which is exactly why we took it on: we are the stockist, supplier and distributor of Super Shakti for this area, and the 600 bundle is what a buyer asks for when he wants the strongest bar for the same thickness.
It is a premium bundle and it moves like one: the man who takes it is the one whose engineer wrote the grade on the drawing, or the one building his own house who wants the top of the range in his columns. Say the diameter and the quantity on the call and both get confirmed before the vehicle is loaded.
