A purlin sits under the roof sheet and a girt under the wall sheet, both bolted to the frame to give the sheeting screws somewhere solid to bite. LYSAGHT supplies them as zinc-coated, cold-formed CEE-plus, ZEE-plus and ZED-plus sections, in nominal depths from 102 to 300 mm and thicknesses from 1.0 to 3.0 mm depending on the profile and depth, published at grade G550, G450 or G350 depending on section and thickness. Jay Shree Infra brings this range into Saharsa under the Tata Durashine name, for shed and warehouse frames going up across Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura.
Neither the profile nor the spacing is picked off a fixed size list here. The roof and wall sheet it carries, the colour-coated sheet or the GC sheet, and the span the shed's drawing calls for decide the depth and thickness, and the piece is cut and punched to that before it leaves. Where there is no drawing, the span and the sheet do the same job over the phone.

All three profiles are zinc-coated cold-formed steel, published at grade G550, G450 or G350 depending on section and thickness, sold by the piece, the running metre or the tonne. Length is project or custom, punched or unpunched to the drawing, so no length column sits above: state the run and the punching on the call and it is cut to that.

Roof purlins carry a colour-coated or GC roof sheet across the rafters, and girts carry a wall sheet the same way up the wall, on PEB and shed structures alike. Shed fabricators and thekedars order against a drawing; a warehouse or godown contractor usually names the span and lets the section get chosen against it.
How far apart the purlins actually sit is a structural design question worked out from the span and the load, not a fixed rule, and the published spacing figures behind that answer are set out on the purlin and girt spacing guide. CEE, ZEE and ZED, and the depth each one comes in
CEE-plus is a C section, ZEE-plus and ZED-plus are Z sections, and LYSAGHT publishes them from 102 mm nominal depth up to 300 mm, with a thickness list of its own at each depth: 1.0 to 2.4 mm at the smaller depths, running up to 3.0 mm at 300 mm. Which profile a job wants is a drawing question, and this shop cuts to whichever the drawing names.

No section here is picked off a fixed list; the span, the sheet it carries and the roof's own load settle it, the same way a fabricator's own design would.
