Say tarai and a mason means the water that goes on a slab, a column or a wall once the shuttering is up and the pour is done. Cement makers whose bags stand on the rack here publish the count in days, seven at the short end and up to twenty one for a roof slab, and which figure applies turns on whether the bag reads OPC, PPC or PSC.
Nothing on the rack is sold for tarai itself, no gunny bag, no hose, no curing compound. What does come off the same bill is the cover block holding the cage off the shuttering underneath it, and the cement bag whose own small print decides how many days the water stays on.
