Colour Chadra

Colour chadra is asked for by the colour before anything else, blue, red or green, and the shape underneath is a square rib rather than the round corrugation of plain tina. A shed built with a colour roof usually wants the walls to match, so the colour name travels through the whole order, not just the roofing line.
It is sold by the sheet and by the length, with the thickness and the colour named on the same call. Under the paint the sheet still starts as galvanised steel, so it goes on the same purlins as plain tina; only the ribs and the coating mark the two apart, and the two never lap into each other on one roof.
