Tiscon is Tata Steel's rebar, and it arrives at this counter as the 550SD line. Kamdhenu Limited makes the other, and the bar kept here under that name is Kamdhenu NXT, its double rib retail line. Both are marked from 8 mm up, and both go into house work and boundary walls across the three districts.

One row stays half empty, and it says so rather than printing a dash. Tata fixes the Tiscon diameter matrix through its dealers instead of publishing one national range on its own site; Kamdhenu's product page names 8 mm to 32 mm outright. Tata's bar is not the poorer for it. The two companies have simply chosen to put different things in print, and a guess in that gap would be worse than the gap.
The mark row is the same for both because a government order decides it. S.O. 3716(E) of 2024 covers IS 1786 reinforcement of 8 mm and above and leaves 5.5 mm and 6 mm out. So an unmarked 6 mm bundle from either company is ordinary, and anything thicker should be showing the mark on the tag and rolled into the bar.

Of the two, Tiscon is the name a house builder here has usually heard before he walks in, and there is honest steel behind that recognition. It comes to this counter as the 550SD line, and Tata also publishes a corrosion resistant CRSD variant for plots where water and soil sit hard on reinforcement, which is worth knowing on a high water table.
It is also the name most often already written into a departmental drawing or a tender in this area, and where that has happened the choice was made before anyone reached the counter. Read us the tender's own wording and the site condition, and you will hear what can be arranged for your quantity.
The wider published range
Where a drawing already names Kamdhenu
Kamdhenu NXT prints the wider published range of the two, 8 mm to 32 mm with grades running Fe 500 through Fe 550D on the maker's own product page, and its double rib design is marketed for a tighter grip with concrete. Where a job wants the heavier 28 mm or 32 mm diameter or a grade above what Tiscon's retail line lists, Kamdhenu's own page carries it in writing.
It earns a second place on jobs where the buyer already knows the double rib name and wants it specifically, which happens on some shed and godown work in this belt. Give us the diameter and the grade and we will confirm what is standing before you commit.

Grade and diameter decide it, not the name
For an ordinary house slab, a lintel, columns and footings, either make will carry what a standard drawing asks for, and the name matters less here than on some of the sariya rack, because both are recognised, mill rolled brands with a published grade the drawing can be checked against. Where the choice is genuinely open, we would point most home builders to Tiscon first, since it is the name this counter is asked for most often by buyers who have not yet fixed a make, and asking for it again is one less thing to explain to family back home.
We would put Kamdhenu on your vehicle where the job wants a diameter or a grade Tiscon's own page does not print, or where the tender or your own earlier supply already names it. Both are honest mill steel, and beyond grade and diameter, the day's stock is what actually decides which one leaves the godown first.

Kamdhenu NXT's own product page lists a published range of 8 mm to 32 mm, so 32 mm is within what the maker prints. What is actually standing on the rack that size changes week to week, so confirm the diameter and quantity on the call before you commit.
Corrosion resistant sariya kaun sa hai?
The corrosion resistant line between these two names is Tata's, the CRSD variant it publishes for a high water table or damp soil. Describe the plot when you ring and you will be told what can be arranged in your quantity.
Dono brand ISI ke dayre me aate hain?
Both come under it at 8 mm and above. That is the 2024 quality control order, which puts IS 1786 bar of 8 mm upward under the standard mark, so it belongs on a Tiscon bundle and on a Kamdhenu bundle equally. The two smallest sizes, 5.5 mm and 6 mm, fall outside the order, so an unmarked bundle there is ordinary. Read the tag first, then the letters rolled along the bar.
