Jay Shree Infra sells both HMB iGrill and Solar structural sections across Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura. HMB iGrill is HMB Ispat Private Limited's plain mild steel line, angle, flat, square, round, gate channel and Z angle, and HMB prints a weight per metre against every size on its own site. Solar structural is the same set of sections, angle to shutter, rolled at the Alaknanda TMT group's mill; the group has never put the Solar name on a page anywhere. Both go into windows, gates and shed frames across the three districts every week.
A fabricator standing at the counter with a cut list is usually asking one of two things. Either he wants to work out the weight of a load before it leaves, in which case a published chart matters, or he wants the section that welds clean and holds its finish, in which case the name matters less than what is standing. HMB Ispat Private Limited runs a public site with its Kolkata head office named on it, and the iGrill page prints a kilogram-per-metre figure against twelve angle sizes, eleven flat sizes, six square sizes, five round sizes and both gate channel sizes. Solar comes from the Alaknanda TMT group's mill, which does not put the Solar name on any page; the steel is the same steel, and the number for it lives on our scale rather than in a chart.
What that means at the counter is practical, not a mark against either line. An HMB order can be checked against HMB's own figures before the vehicle leaves, which suits a job where the bill has to match a cut list on paper. A Solar order is weighed the way every local section here is, on our own scale as it goes out, and that ticket is the number a fabricator has always worked from.

HMB iGrill is our premium pick, and fabricators here know it for its true square finish and straight lengths, section after section. It also suits a job where the numbers have to add up before the material moves. Twelve angle sizes run from 20x20x3 mm at 0.90 kg per metre to 50x50x6 mm at 4.50, all at a 20 ft length, and a fabricator working off a cut list can total the weight before he calls, and the bill that comes back off our scale matches it within the tolerance any mill steel carries.
It also suits plain, painted work. iGrill is uncoated mild steel, so a grill or a gate frame that will be primed and painted straight away does not pay for a coat it is about to cover. Where the job needs a galvanised finish instead, HMB's own Grill Guard line carries the identical sizes hot dip galvanised, and it is the best galvanised grill section among the brands sold in India; that is a separate name on our shutter and structural rack, and one more reason HMB is worth the higher price.

No, and it should not be read across. HMB's kilogram-per-metre figures are for HMB's own rolled sections; Solar comes off a different mill and its section is weighed on our own scale rather than matched to someone else's chart. For a Solar order, the weight is confirmed the same way, on the ticket when the load goes out.
Gate ke liye GI section chahiye, dono line me milta hai?
Solar does, in the same structural line: angle, flat, square, round and shutter sections all stand in GI as well as black under the one Solar name. HMB iGrill itself is plain mild steel only; its galvanised equivalent is a separate line, HMB Grill Guard, carrying the same sizes. Say GI on the call and we confirm which of the two is standing.
