UltraTech Cement Limited, ACC Limited, Ambuja Cements Limited, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation, Shree Cement Limited and Birla Corporation Limited each send a bag through this godown, and all six are national cement makers with a published range far wider than what stands on our floor. What we actually keep of each is narrower and is set out on the cement page; below, the six sit side by side.
A buyer standing at the counter rarely wants a ranking. He wants to know which bag goes into a slab, which into a plaster coat and which into a foundation that will sit damp for part of the year, and whether the brand he already has half a bori of at site will do the rest of the job. A cement type marked on a sack can change bag to bag inside one brand, so the marking is read at the counter before a load goes out, whichever of the six it is.
Two makers on that list carry a second name on the sack as well. Shree Cement Limited has put its whole range under the Bangur name since the start of 2024, so a sack from this maker can read Shree or Bangur across the front and be the same cement. Birla Corporation Limited makes MP Birla Cement, and its own site is careful to say it has appointed no online agent to sell on its behalf, so the bill for anything bought here carries this shop's own name and GST number, whichever of the six brands is on the load.
None of the six bags is confined to one job. UltraTech, ACC and Ambuja each publish more than one product under their own name, wider than what we keep, and Nuvoco, Shree and MP Birla do the same. What decides a specific pour is the type printed on the sack, OPC to IS 269:2015, PPC to IS 1489 or PSC to IS 455, read out on the call before the vehicle is loaded.
Slab and dhalai
For a slab, the grade decides more than the name
A house slab, a column or a footing is settled by the OPC grade the structural drawing calls for, 43 or 53 most often, and IS 269:2015 holds every maker to the same strength floor for that number regardless of the brand printed above it. All six names on this rack put out an OPC option somewhere in their range: UltraTech's plain and Premium bags list slabs, columns and beams among their published uses, ACC's plain bag is sold for general RCC, Ambuja's own bag goes into RCC work by name, MP Birla publishes Concrecem as an OPC bag carrying both the 43 and the 53 grade, and Shree's own product pages put its Magna name against slabs, columns and foundations specifically.
Nuvoco's Concreto line sits apart from the other five here: it is Portland Slag Cement under IS 455, a different type from OPC rather than a competing OPC bag, and it is Nuvoco's own top line for structural work. Where a drawing has written OPC and a grade, that instruction is read off the sack rather than off the brand name; where it has written PSC or named Concreto directly, Nuvoco is the one bag on this rack built for it.
Plaster and masonry
Masonry work leans on PPC across these names
Brickwork, plastering and a slab with an ordinary cure are the jobs PPC more often goes out on from this godown, and PPC is not one brand's word, it sits under IS 1489 on whichever sack carries it. UltraTech's plain bag is PPC on some packs and OPC on others, the marking on that particular sack is what settles it, and Ambuja's own site publishes a PPC version of the Ambuja Cement bag alongside its OPC one. Say plaster or masonry on the call and either brand's PPC pack, where it is standing that day, is what we point you to.
Shree and MP Birla both carry a masonry-specific name further down their own published list, Shree Jungrodhak against plastering, brickwork and flooring on Shree's own product pages, and MP Birla's Perfect Plus published as a straight PPC bag with no grade number against it. Neither is a name we hold as a separate SKU on the rack the way UltraTech Plain or Ambuja Cement is; if a drawing or a mistri asks for either one by name, say so on the call and we will say plainly whether it can be brought in for your quantity.
Foundation and damp
Where the water table or the monsoon is the worry
Three of the six names put a bag specifically to this job, and we keep all three. ACC F2R is ACC's own foundation bag, published as ACC F2R Superfast and written FRR or F2F on order slips around here. ACC Gold, published as ACC Gold Water Shield, and UltraTech Weather Plus, which UltraTech makes for the whole structure and not only the roof, both go where damp and seepage are the concern rather than the foundation trench alone. Nuvoco Concreto Uno is the water repellent bag inside the Concreto family and it is on our rack alongside plain Concreto.
Ambuja and Shree publish water-repellent names of their own beyond what we hold as a standing SKU, Ambuja Kawach among Ambuja's other products and Shree's waterproofing range alongside Bangur's main list. Where a job specifically wants one of those two, name it on the call and you will hear on that same call whether it can be arranged for your quantity, the way any name not standing on the rack that morning is.

Slab ke liye OPC 43 ya 53, kaun kaun se brand me milta hai?
The structural drawing's OPC grade, 43 or 53, decides that, and every one of the six brands publishes an OPC option that meets IS 269:2015 at whichever grade the drawing names. Read us the grade and we will confirm which of the six is standing on the floor that morning; the name matters less here than the number.
Plaster ke kaam me PPC kis brand ka lena chahiye?
UltraTech's plain bag and Ambuja Cement both carry a PPC pack alongside their OPC one, and the marking on the sack tells you which is in front of you. Shree and MP Birla publish masonry-focused PPC names of their own, Jungrodhak and Perfect Plus, which we can bring in against a specific order. Say plaster or masonry on the call and we will point you to whichever PPC bag is standing.
Nami wali jagah ke liye konsa cement theek rahega?
Three bags on this rack are built for it: ACC F2R for the foundation itself, and ACC Gold Water Shield or UltraTech Weather Plus for a structure where seepage is the wider worry. Where both sacks carry the same cement type and grade, mixing is not a structural problem, though most buyers here settle on one brand per pour to keep the delivery and the bill simple. What matters more than matching brands is matching type: an OPC sack and a PSC sack are not interchangeable in the same batch without the drawing saying so.
